Emergency Management Specialist (Continuity Response Team Readiness Coordinator)

As an Emergency Management Specialist (Continuity Response Team Readiness Coordinator), GS-0089-11/12, your typical work assignments may include the following: Provides staff support needed to maintain EOP continuity and life safety teams. Updates and maintains continuity team rosters and validates rosters with EOP components and other partners to ensure accuracy and readiness for an incident that could occur with little or no notice. Maintains access lists for continuity facilities and other emergency preparedness programs, processes access requests and removals, and interfaces with host facilities and other internal and external partners regularly to synchronize and de-conflict efforts. Revises and updates continuity and emergency preparedness plan to ensure the EOP is prepared for a range of potential threats and hazards and can continue essential functions during disruptions to normal operations.
