Wage and Hour Specialist (Regional Enforcement Coordinator - H1B / H2B)

The Wage and Hour Specialist (Regional Enforcement Coordinator - H-1B/H-2B) serves as the principal advisor to Regional and District management on enforcement and compliance matters related to Wage and Hour Division programs, with responsibilities that include: Explaining and presenting potential litigation cases to the Regional Solicitor. Represents the Regional Office in settlement conferences and trials which flow from the referral of cases for litigation. Identifying potential litigation cases and works closely with representatives of the Solicitor's Office in building the most effective case where litigation is involved. Providing technical oversight for national and regional initiatives with responsibility for planning and assigning work, coordinating and monitoring investigative and research activities, and identifying and resolving logistical and technical issues that arise.
