About the role
The primary purpose of this position is: as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) Officer to serve as the Senior ART/Mission Support Group Commander at a tenant location, responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, directing, and controlling the activities and operations of the Mission Support Group. DUTY 1: Plans, directs, organizes, and manages the Mission Support Group program including such areas as logistics planning and readiness, security forces, civil engineering, communications, services, and personnel. Incumbent manages a limited number of support functions or does not have the full complement of base support services as these services are provided by the host activity. DUTY 2: Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Directs, coordinates, and oversees work through subordinate supervisors.
