About the role
The incumbent Physician (General Practice) will serve in a detention facility staffed by ICE Health Service Corps (IHSC), providing care for detainees in ICE Custody. The IHSC has a multi-sector, multidisciplinary workforce of more than 900 employees, including commissioned corps officers of the U.S. Public Health Service (PHS), Federal civil employees, and contract staff. The General Practice (Staff Physician) reports directly to the Clinical Director at their respective site as available or the Regional Clinical Director. The incumbent Physician (General Practice) conducts a program of primary medical care with responsibility for examination, diagnosis, and treatment, and emergency care of patients.
