About the role
The typical seasonal entry-on-duty period is April - October, but can be variable during these months due to weather conditions, project needs, or funding. Anticipated Entry on Duty: July 2026. These positions are located at the Natchez Trace Parkway in the all districts - Kosciusko District located near Kosciusko, Mississippi; Meriwether Lewis District, located near Hohenwald, Tennessee, Natchez District, located near Natchez, Mississippi, and the Port Gibson District located near Port Gibson, Mississippi; ; Cherokee District, located near Cherokee, Alabama, and the Tupelo District located near Tupelo, Mississippi. The primary function of Maintenance Worker is to collect and dispose of trash from roadsides, remove limbs and other obstructions from roadsides, leg stretcher trails and grounds, and clean restrooms and other facilities along the Parkway.
