About the role

As a Supervisory International Trade Specialist, you will perform the following duties: Advise Trade and Commerce Division Chief and Office of International Affairs, Trade, and Commerce (IATC) Director and Deputy Director on trade and commerce policy issues and priorities. Make recommendations on related management and budget matters, including preparation of policy memoranda, position papers, briefing materials, talking points, and speeches. Supervise Trade and Commerce Policy Branch staff, implementing effective branch-level human capital development, hiring, and performance management. Perform all necessary supervisory tasks and work closely with agency or program officials in the development of overall goals and objectives for assigned staff functions, programs, or program segments.
