Human Resource Specialist

Serves as an advisor to managers on all issues related to Executive Resources and provides expert management advisory and consultative services to senior officials CMS-wide. Develops position descriptions and classifies positions, conducts recruitment, including merit staffing, and evaluates applicants' qualifications. Provides staff guidance and advice to programs and offices regarding recruitment and placement, position classification, and performance management requirements of executive personnel. Monitors the entire recruitment process including panel operations to assure quality staffing of Senior Executive Service (SES) positions.
