About the role

Works on all the Center sewage, water, gas, and fire suppression systems. Also disassembles, installs, modifies, repairs, and maintains a wide variety of new and existing piping systems and equipment. Installs, modifies, and repairs systems by locating and tapping main lines, setting up system routes, placing and cutting route openings, placing hangers for proper level and slope. Installs and repairs valves, traps and unions needed for proper operation of various systems. Lays out, installs and insulates domestic water and waste lines completing proper routing, placement, slant, slope and jointing, sealing and testing for proper pressures, leak-free joints and operation. Cuts, bends and threads pipe necessary to hook-up air, gas and water lines. Opens clogged drains and sewer lines, and repairs faucets. Operates soldering equipment to join copper pipe of varying sizes.
