Financial Management Specialist

As a your typical work assignments may include: Assigns the proper accounting codes of funding as it relates to the approved budget and OT spend plans. Conducts detailed examination of transactions for travel and acquisitions and researches various policies for required information and classifies accounting data for assigned accounts. Provides customer service to vendors to reconcile transactions involving multiple funds or a number of different control accounts. Serves as point of contact for field funding transfers for ammunition, training, and personal protective equipment. Collects, reviews and validates financial data to support managing resources for assigned program areas.
