1. Manages the authorization, requisition, receipt, maintenance, storage, handling, delivering and disposal of non-nuclear munitions. Develops, implements, operates, and analyzes munitions accounts including, but not limited to, inventory control, inspection, and item accounting. Implements management controls for allocations, stock levels, forecasting, and inventory management. Ensures unit members are fully trained and prepared for exercises and contingency deployments. 2. Serves as the installation and other supported location(s) focal point for all munitions matters and inquiries concerning recommendations, development, and publication of policy and procedural changes. As a technical advisor for maintenance, operations, and installation level logistics of munitions, determines munitions compatibility and explosive limits by utilizing the master storage plan, taking into account special requirements, in order to provide proper physical storage to the maximum capacity.
