Physician (Pulmonary/Sleep Medicine)

Duties include but not limited to: 1. Clinical Care: Provide comprehensive pulmonary care to veterans diagnosed with respiratory conditions. Diagnose and treat pulmonary diseases, including but not limited to, COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, and lung cancer. Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as chest X-rays, CT scans, pulmonary function tests, and bronchoscopy procedures. Develop treatment plans based on the best available scientific evidence and clinical guidelines. Conduct follow-up appointments and ongoing management of chronic respiratory conditions. 2. Inpatient Services: Provide inpatient care in the ICU and general medical wards for patients with respiratory and related conditions, Participate in on-call duties and provide consultations to other services within the Robley Rex VA Medical Center.
