About the role
Cardiology Section, Medical Service Core Privileges comprise the types of clinical activity normally performed by an Internal Medicine Physician with sub-specialty training in Cardiology as supported and evidenced by state licensure, completion of an approved residency/fellowship, board eligibility or certification in the field of Cardiology, and review of all pertinent individual data by the VANTHCS Chief of Medical Service. Privileges listed under "core" paragraphs are a representative sample of the types of clinical activities and procedures that can be performed under that level of training but is not an inclusive list. Provides non-invasive cardiovascular care including TTE, TEE, stress testing, ECG interpretation, and advanced cardiac CT imaging. - Structural imaging experience preferred.
