About the role
As a Business Specialist, you will: Apply the theories, principles, practices, and analytical techniques associated with the analysis and evaluation of audited or company prepared financial statements, Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reports or public filings to determine vendor credit risk ratings. Apply a wide range of credit risk mitigation concepts, principles, and incorporating the knowledge of applicable laws, regulations (e.g., Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, FERC, Commodity Futures Trading Commission, CFTC), and practices to frame, develop, and recommend flexible alternatives for problem resolution. Apply fact-finding and investigative techniques (e.g., interviews with counterparty Chief Financial Officer, staff and other experts, review of counterparty work procedures, instructions, records, and files) to perform qualitative and quantitative financial analysis for highly complex and/or difficult financial risk analysis situations.
