Demonstrates advanced knowledge and skill in preparation, administration, and documentation of commonly prescribed oral, topical, subcutaneous, and intramuscular medications permitted by facility policies and procedures and within the LPN Scope of Practice. Recognizes subtle signs and symptoms of drug interactions and promptly notifies provider. Prepares and administers prescribed medications (oral, topical, subcutaneous, intramuscular and/or intravenous) and performs treatments according to established policies/procedures.
