ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF RESEARCH FOR SYSTEMS

You will formulate general policies and objectives necessary to carry out the Directorate’s scientific and technological programs. You will review and evaluate the Directorate's output and achievements in order that programs be coordinated to achieve the desired goals and to ensure that high scientific and technology standards are maintained. You will establish priorities, considering DON and DoW potential, the relative importance of the work, its usefulness in other fields, the cost, and the potential value in relation to increasing scientific knowledge and DON and DoW capabilities. You will develop both long-term and short-terms plans and assist the Division Heads/Office Head as appropriate in marketing proposed programs.
