About the role
Provides laboratory technical support to cadets, faculty, and researchers on testing equipment; experiments for cadet and faculty research; and individual projects. Performs repair, installation, maintenance, and modification of electronic, and mechanical lab equipment. Designs, builds, configure, and modify test specimens, test systems, and demonstration devices for laboratory exercises and department research. Monitors ongoing operation of department computer systems to ensure hardware and software are functioning properly and that operational standards are met. Manages laboratory equipment and supplies. Insures compliance with safety rules, regulations, and procedures.
