Budget Analyst

Provides budgetary support to 1500 employees at a Complexity Level 1c Medical Center Monitors budget plan projected obligations and expenditures throughout fiscal year by conduction variance analysis bi-weekly and quarterly and make recommendations to the Fiscal Officer Advises the Fiscal Officer on reprogramming actions between FCPs Provides oversight and supervises control point officials and clerks to meet program goals and to meet budgetary assignments by monitoring rate of expenditure of budgeted funds Considered and expert on budgetary matters and is routinely consulted by the Associate Director and all Medical Center service chiefs Develops the annual Budget Plan for Medical Center appropriations Formulates and revises annual budget estimates and budget justification for base support activities and components for activities and research projects Independently prepares salary estimates, FTEE projections, and other costs on a biweekly basis for the Fiscal Officer Monitors receipt
