EDUCATION SERVICES SPECIALIST

Using professional knowledge of education theories, principles, procedures and practices evaluates academic and social histories, educational transcripts, and other requirements for pre-candidates, candidates and appointees to the United States Air Force Academy. Serves as second evaluator for high school transcripts and first evaluator for college transcripts for use in computing Prior Academic Record, Academic Composite, Weighted Composite and Selection Composites. Administers various selections programs as assigned. During periods of low counselor manning, processing of applications, candidate kits, and notifies applicants and candidates of their admissions status Performs assigned staff and support work for admission procedures, office functions, education and training.
