SUMMARY: The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as a first level supervisor, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to the Terminal Instrument Procedures Branch (PACAF/A319)/Operational Support Division within the Directorate of Air and Cyberspace Operations at HQ PACAF. DUTIES: Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of HQ PACAF/A319, ensuring that the Unit Terminal Instrument Procedures Section complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Represents HQ PACAF/A319 with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Makes aeronautical decisions and sets policy on behalf of COMPACAF based on a thorough knowledge of air traffic control information from US and foreign information sources.
