Criminal Investigator (Desk Officer/National Program Manager)

Internal selectee will remain in their current duty location. This position is located at Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration, Office of Investigations. As a Criminal Investigator (Desk Officer/National Program Manager), you will conduct projects that exceed in scope, complexity, or sensitivity even the normal highly complex and sensitive assignments of the GS-13 criminal investigators. You will serve as a source of authoritative advice on highly technical matters for senior officials and as a source of direction for investigators of lower grade on technical aspects of their cases that are beyond their experience. As a criminal investigator, you will be called upon to spearhead the largest, most complex, and most sensitive criminal and occasionally non-criminal investigations which come under the jurisdiction of the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA).
