About the role
The primary purpose of this position is: To repair, overhaul, rebuild, modify, test, troubleshoot, remove, replace, align, calibrate, inspect and mate avionics integrated electronic and environmental systems. Severs as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) providing training to reservist in the accomplishment of tasks herein. 1. Installs, modifies, overhauls, maintains, troubleshoots, repairs, aligns, calibrates, and rebuilds multi-system avionics complexes consisting of multiple completely integrated electronic avionics systems where the complex accomplishes a number of major functions. 2. Performs pretest, operational (functional), or final testing of electronic systems, components, or subassemblies. 3. Advises engineering personnel on the operation and maintenance effects of proposed Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO) and/or modifications on new or existing equipment. 4.
