Specialist Integration/Test Engineering

Systems Safety Engineers assure that systems provide acceptable levels of safety and that critical systems perform as needed even when components fail. Engineer will identify and manage risk in order to eliminate or reduce it to acceptable levels. Risk is the combination of the probability of a failure event and the severity resulting from the failure. Essential Functions: Must possess the ability to establish and execute a MIL-STD-882 safety program that concludes with a comprehensive safety assessment. Must possess the ability to understand the concepts of preliminary and system hazard analysis, hazard logs, fault tree analyses, environmental assessment and management, risk assessments and mitigation and occupational health hazard assessments. Ability to translate system requirements into functional requirements Ability to interpret technical drawings Able to work independently or in a team Avaialble for minimal travel when required Qualifications:
