About the role

Directs and evaluates assigned personnel, manages workloads, oversees training, and handles administrative actions such as leave and performance ratings. Ensures safety and Equal Employment Opportunity compliance, prioritizes tasks for augmented contractors, and formally evaluates contractor performance. Investigates emerging technologies for close access cyberspace operations and cultivates joint and interagency partnerships for rapid capability deployment. Advises J3 leadership and Cyber Mission Force components on close access operations, actively pairing cyber capabilities with specific operational requirements. Guides subordinate unit mission planning and deconflicts real-time cyber targeting efforts with DoD and external partners to ensure coordinated effects. Analyzes operational reports to assess mission effectiveness, captures lessons learned, and represents the Command in enterprise-level policy working groups.
