IT Specialist (Server Administrator)

The Senior Server Administrator, Special Operations position within the Office of Information Technology is responsible for the design development implementations and support of all hardware and software platforms used to facilitate automated systems within the United States Supreme Court. The incumbent is responsible for the following subsystems: server architecture, mail system architecture, virtual desktop systems architecture, and the data retention architecture. The incumbent also supports the integration of all software applications developed for use within the Court, and software products and assets for the monitoring and protection of the underlying infrastructure into the server architecture. The duties of a Server Administrator include the following: Monitor, maintain and perform upgrades of the hardware, software and operating system of the equipment under the scope of the Server Administration department.
