Functions as a Wing Airlift Director (Barrel), responsible for managing aircrew and aircraft allocations for higher headquarters tasked missions and the execution of the flying training programs for the 15th Airlift Wing and 154th Wing. Reviews and evaluates scheduled airlift missions planned by the TACC's Channel, SAAM Exercise and Contingency cells or by Kenney Headquarters AMD for accuracy and efficiency. Provides briefings of the Flying Schedule to the senior staff and support functions while chairing the daily Airlift Operations Directive (AOD) meetings. Assists with personnel management of current operations employees: As an Air Operations Specialist, coordinates a staff of civilians and military personnel. Demonstrates a commitment to Operational Risk Management (ORM) principles and ideas necessary to foster an environment for continuous change and improvement.
