Program Analyst

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a program analyst providing analytical and advisory support to evaluate program performance, inform decision-making, and support strategic planning and resource management activities. This work is in support of the agency's mission to prevent, protect, respond to, and recover from terrorism, criminal acts, and other hazards threatening the U.S. Government's critical infrastructure, services, and the people who provide or receive them. Duties performed: Developing and applying quantitative and qualitative methods to collect, analyze, and interpret program data to support evaluation and decision-making. Reviewing and assessing program performance, progress, and resource utilization against established goals, objectives, and schedules. Supporting programming and budgeting activities by translating program requirements into resource requests and assisting in the development of budget justifications.
