About the role Muon Space is building the FireSat constellation, a mission optimized for global wildfire detection and monitoring. FireSat’s thermal anomaly detection and characterization capabilities are also of great interest to the US Defense and Intelligence communities for dual-use applications. Muon’s IR Data Products team is building the analytics system that processes the data from our spacecraft’s custom multispectral imaging instruments into data products and analytics for end-users of data from this mission. This role will be the technical lead on developing and maintaining data processing pipelines and data products to serve the US Defense and Intelligence community.
