Supervisory Program Analyst

Specific duties include: Sets the overall objectives and decides on the resources available. The incumbent supervises the following: Emergency Management Specialists, Physical and Personnel Security Specialists, Safety and Occupational Health Managers and Specialists, Management and Program Analysts and the VBA Watch Officers. Overall responsibility for VBA's national Physical Security, Personnel Security, Safety and Emergency Preparedness programs; serving 56 Regional Offices and over 300 Out-Based Sites that are geographically located throughout the United States and its territories. Possesses speaking and writing skills to communicate effectively with senior officials and to produce clearly written reports and correspondence are necessary. Serves as VBA liaison for the Under Secretary of Benefits to the VAIOC on operational matters and coordinates program policies with other official VA missions and program elements, and top officials of other Federal and State agencies.
