About the role
If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for assisting in managing the budget for the United States Attorney's Office, District of New Jersey. Typical work assignments will include: Implementing and administering a variety of budget and financial management activities for the district. Administering a comprehensive financial management program, under the direction of the Budget Officer, which includes long-range programmatic plans and the annual budget as key components. Advising the District's management team on programmatic effectiveness relative to planned financial objectives. Preparing recommendations for achieving cost reductions. Ensuring that all obligations, expenditures, unobligated orders and available balances are properly maintained, supported, and documented.
