About the role
Principle advisor to the Superintendent and park Management Team on all administrative, financial and business matters. Administer a variety of support programs, including budget and finance, procurement, property, information technology, administrative records, and agreements. Provide direction and support to facilitate problem solving and accomplishment of administrative and support service program goals. Actively participates in and supports the local decision-making process affecting park operations, long and short-range planning, human and financial resources management. Serves as an engaged and integral member of the leadership team, participating in planning and development of park plans, programs, procedures, operating policies, internal controls, and program goals. Provides excellent customer service and contributes to a team atmosphere. The Administrative Officer supervises and directs work that is primarily administrative, complex and clerical in nature.
