About the role
As a ORDNANCE EQUIPMENT MECHANIC, WG-6641-10, this position is located in an Air National Guard, Combat Air Force (CAF) Wing, Maintenance Group, Maintenance Squadron, Munitions Flight. The purpose of this position is to provide munitions support to the state and designated agencies in support of their taskings. This dual status technician position requires military membership. 1. Production Section is comprised of Precision Guided Munitions (PGM), Conventional Maintenance, Line-Delivery and Munitions Support Equipment Elements. Assembles/Disassembles, adjust configuration, performs maintenance/test & repair, handles and transports ammunition, rockets, unguided and guided weapons and countermeasures, demolition material, and other types of conventional ordnance such as 40MM, Cluster Bomb Units (CBU), Guided Bomb Units (GBU), general purpose bombs, aircraft canon ammunition, missile systems, decoys, countermeasures to include LUU series flares and dispensers for loading on aircraft based
