Financial Systems Technician

The following are the duties of this position at the GS-07. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties and will receive training to help you grow in this position. Assist with navigating users through various financial systems. Provide daily customer service in a help desk environment on accounting and procurement system related requests as well as technical questions as they relate to the systems. Identify and refer complex problems or questions requiring detailed analysis or extensive system modification to the responsible financial system analyst or higher-level employee. Provide technical assistance and advice to management, support staff, and customers on using an automated financial system.
