BOAT REPAIRER HELPER A05 (RFT) MCBH MARINA

Assists higher level mechanic in repairing boats, other watercrafts and related equipment, performing preparatory tasks such as sanding, base painting, mixing compounds, and under direction cleans boat components, engine parts, and assists in installation of rudders and center boards, etc. Performs routine preventive maintenance of watercrafts and general handyman tasks around the Marina and Outdoor Recreation facilities, including water craft above and below waterline (the latter requiring use of snorkeling equipment) and docks such as replacing bang rails, etc. Maintains recreation area, facilities (including Camping and Picnic areas) and equipment in the proper condition, removing trash, policing restrooms, and emptying contents into dumpster. Provides information concerning the use of equipment, facilities and operation. Ensures only authorized patrons use recreation area, facilities and equipment. May assist in maintaining routine reports and/or perform clerical duties as needed.
