About the role
Start, continue, or finish your career here | Cheyenne VA Health Care System(youtube.com) Surgical Service provides diagnostic and treatment services for patients with conditions requiring or potentially requiring medical or surgical intervention. The Service actively participates in teaching and training of medical students, interns, and residents. Duties included but are not limited to: - Privileges to evaluate, diagnose, consult, provide pre, intra- and postoperative surgical care and perform surgical procedures - Conditions, illnesses and injuries of the alimentary tract, abdomen and its contents (except as specified in Additional Privileges) - Hernia Repair- Breasts, skin and soft tissue (except as specified in Additional Privileges) - Head and neck including trauma, endocrine, congenital, and oncologic disorders - Insertion and management of chest tubes, central venous catheters and arterial catheters - Tracheostomy - Paracentesis, thoracentesis - Hand surgery for minor infection
