Supervisory Program Manager (Director of Transition and Training)

For the GS-15 Director of Transition and Training the duties include: The Transition Assistance Program (TAP) Director integrates program activities into a cohesive strategy and plans that positively influence the employment related outcomes of over 180,000 transitioning service member each year. Responsible for the overall planning, execution and integration of all TAP interagency activities within the DOL TAP office. Supervise all TAP policy related activities, which include policy, legislation, partnerships, communications, and outreach. Supervise all TAP operations related activities, which include the following: budget, contracts, curriculum, scheduling and alternative delivery methods. Supervise all TAP training related activities that can lead to higher wages for transitioning service members. Supervise all TAP performance related activities, which include the following: performance, evaluations, data analytics and research.
