Food Service Worker (Barista)

Operates full-service bar. Prepares a wide range of drinks including, but not limited to, lattes, espresso, Americano, and cappuccinos by selecting the proper grind of coffee shot and following set recipes for each variation of drink. Prepares, heats, and serves made-to-order food menu items such as, but not limited to, paninis, baguettes, hot dogs, and sandwiches while following all food handling requirements. Must be able to follow basic cappuccino requirement of each type of drink including, but not limited to, preheating the portafilter; knowing the difference in grinds of coffee; how long to brew a shot of coffee for said drink into a cup; preheating the cup; how to "pull" and "tamp" into the portafilter; difference in frothing and steaming milk; and know the difference and relay information to customers on the difference in drinks.
