About the role
Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Deployment and Assignment Sustainment Section ensuring that Deployment and Assignment system sustainment actions comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management. Represents the Deployment & Assignment Sustainment Section with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Provides advice and technical expertise to leadership on deployment and contingency support requirements. Serves as the AF BPO for all AF military personnel data and personnel systems in all areas pertaining to airman assignments.
