About the role
The successful candidate will perform the full range of Senior Health Physicist duties. Such duties include but are not limited to: Coordinates the development and implementation of specialized technical training, as assigned, to provide NRC staff and Agreement State personnel with the level of knowledge of specialized technical training topics needed to perform their individual job assignments. This coordination requires front end analysis, development/review of course materials (objectives, lesson plans, examinations, etc.), monitoring of course presentations and making recommendations for course improvement. Provides specialized technical training in health physics topics relate to nuclear reactors, fuel cycle, high and low level radioactive waste activities and the broad range of licensed activities involving radioactive material including medical and industrial applications, environmental monitoring, decommissioning, and the transportation of radioactive material.
