About the role
Serve as a Records Officer and subject matter expert and analyst on the implementation of records and information (RIM) laws, regulations, and policies. Modernize records management functions by managing the transition from paper records to digital and electronic records. Plan, implement, and manage record systems, including the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) Archives and Records Centers Information System (ARCIS), Electronic Records Archives (ERA), in-house digitization and electronic records. Performing program management oversight to the Records and Information Management (RIM) program to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure appropriate creation, review and implementation of electronic record keeping requirements, including file plans, retention schedules, reports, analyses, including overseeing and coordinating transfer of record as appropriate, to NARA.
