Quality Assurance Specialist

Develops the General Quality Assurance Program for the Directorate as well as Quality Assurance Programs for each of the specifically assigned mission or non-mission items, which include complete cannon assemblies or other complete items. Recommends changes in production methods to improve the productivity of quality material. Provides a central point of coordination between producer and customer for questions of product acceptability and prevention of defects. Identifies causes of deficiencies to initiate corrective action. Modifies Quality Assurance Programs to accommodate design changes. Coordinates with inspection personnel to explain quality requirements and ensure attainment of quality objectives.
