About the role
You will determine long and short-range needs for resources such as manpower, materials, equipment and staff support. You will conduct meetings or briefings to ensure flow of information regarding production schedule, cost effectiveness, or material issues. You will direct production efforts committed to the sequencing of ship overhaul or repair projects. You will manage material or labor costs during the production phase to ensure proper execution of shipboard projects. You will develop short and long-range plans to provide manning, material, and equipment to support ship overhaul or repair projects. You will identify manning priorities and distribute personnel assignments accordingly.
