Acquisition Division Director

Directs acquisition activities to meet the federal government's information technology (IT) services, professional services, research and development (R&D), and managed services needs in the most economical, effective, and efficient manner possible. The employee manages a portfolio of projects within a client-focused specialty sector with innovative acquisitions, including non-FAR based procedures, and in this capacity manages a team of acquisition-focused contract specialists supporting and championing the needs of client agencies nationwide and/or worldwide. Evaluates complex requirements to determine and justify appropriate contract type and contract vehicle. Takes a leadership role in the implementation of processes and norms within the organization. Creates standardized processes and expectations for the entirety of staff and workload. Responsible for quality assurance and control within the assigned portion of the employing APEX.
