Staff Software Engineer, Growth

ABOUT THE ROLE You'll own end-to-end growth strategy and execution as we scale Gamma to hundreds of millions of users. This means driving key business metrics like sign-ups, activation rates, conversion, retention, and revenue while designing the infrastructure that enables rapid experimentation at scale. You'll architect complex monetization features including multi-tier pricing, usage-based billing, payment flows, and subscription management while partnering with leadership to shape company-wide growth strategy. As a Staff Engineer on the Growth team, you'll balance hands-on engineering with technical leadership. You'll mentor engineers on growth best practices and experimentation rigor, make critical technical decisions about when to experiment vs commit, and identify high-leverage opportunities hiding in data. You'll bring both statistical rigor and strong judgment, knowing when metrics lie, when to trust intuition, and when to dig deeper. Our team has a strong in-office culture
