About the role
As a Facilities Engineer, you will perform the following duties: Ensure critical infrastructure such as emergency power systems, heating ventilating and cooling (HVAC) and Building Automation Systems are properly maintained, operating and performing in accordance with specifications. Provide quality assurance and oversight of planned maintenance activities ensuring timely and accurate completion of scheduled maintenance and customer generated work requests to achieve maximum performance of key systems, anticipate potential failures or safety issues, and monitor scheduled/phased replacement of facility components. Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) with as-built drawings, engineering plans and contract specifications in order to lead technical discussions and immediately address emergent facility infrastructure issues impacting campus operations. Develop requirements, evaluate Architect/Engineer design efforts and provide design quality assurance for construction and repair projects
