Registered Nurse - Informatics Nurse Manager

The Nurse Manager is the designated first-line supervisory authority. The Nurse Manager exercises leadership in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of hardware and software applications integrated with the electronic health record (EHR) and associated programs/applications. The Nurse Manager collaborates with interdisciplinary team members, including other program and service leaders at the facility and network. Works closely to establish and maintain effective relationships with all levels of Veteran Affairs (VA) staff nationwide. The Nurse Manager assists in directing the provision of education, orientation, competencies and providing quality improvement and outcomes utilization. Responsible to the assigned grading and approving supervisor and is accountable to the Medical Officer Health Informatics.
