Pharmacist Supervisor (Outpatient)

The Pharmacy Supervisor at the Central Alabama Veterans Affairs Health Care System (CAVHCS) overseeing outpatient distributive pharmacy services and functions at the highest level of pharmacy practice to provide pharmaceutical care to patients and optimizes pharmacy processes and patient care outcomes. The Pharmacy Supervisor is responsible for the professional and administrative management of Outpatient and Community Care Network areas in pharmacy service, to include budgetary execution. Has responsibility for supervising multiple pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians. Manages people, maintains effective interdepartmental relations and cooperates with other services to accomplish the medical facility' s mission and goals.
