About the role
Scrubs, strips, waxes, and buffs floors using heavy-powered scrubbers, buffers, mops, and related equipment; vacuums and cleans rugs and carpets. Washes and cleans windows, blinds, office areas, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas using appropriate cleaning chemicals and products for various surfaces. Performs janitorial and custodial duties as assigned or as backup support to ensure facilities remain clean, sanitary, and safe. Stocks shelves, inventories supplies, and keeps shop and storage areas clean, organized, and safe. Loads and unloads materials and supplies and moves furniture and equipment as needed. Uses hand tools and light power equipment to complete maintenance tasks and may work from ladders or scaffolding to perform cleaning or maintenance duties. Supports grounds and facility upkeep, including picking up litter, painting surfaces, and assisting with general maintenance tasks.
