Nurse (Clinical/Med-Surg)

Manage the care of patients with complex and multifaceted medical and surgical needs, applying advanced clinical expertise and judgment. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, identifying subtle and critical changes in patient conditions, and implementing sophisticated nursing interventions. Interpret lab results and other findings and reports them to the healthcare provider when those findings indicate a deterioration of the patient’s condition. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for high-risk patients. Provide leadership within the unit, mentoring junior nursing staff and serving as a resource for complex clinical situations. Promote quality assurance initiatives within the unit, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
