About the role
Total Rewards of a Allied Health Professional The Chief Radiologic Technologist has full responsibility for technical aspects and patient care functions within the General Radiology, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and lnterventional Radiology sections and has supervisory responsibility over the staff in these sections within the Atlanta VA Health Care System to currently include direct-report of 6 first-line section supervisors and 1 Lead technologist. The Chief Technologist serves as the second-line supervisor for the nonsupervisory diagnostic radiologic technologists and medical instrument technicians. Typical duties may include, but are not limited to: Planning, organizing, and directing the ongoing developments of the Radiology service, as well as analyzing, evaluating, advising and coordinating clinical activities as well as short term and long-term strategic planning.
