About the role
Joining the Customs and Border Protection Office of Field Operations will allow you to use your expertise to detect and prevent terrorists and instruments of terror from entering the U.S. This position starts at a salary of $125,776.00 (GS-14, Step 1) to $163,514.00 (GS-14, Step 10). As a second-line Supervisory CBP Agriculture Specialist, you will become a key member of a team of Homeland Security professionals detecting and preventing terrorists and instruments of terror from entering the U.S. Typical work assignments include: Planning, directing, coordinating, assigning, organizing and evaluating all work activities conducted regarding the full range of activities relating to the importation or exportation of plants, plant products and miscellaneous articles of restricted agricultural commodities and animal by-products by passengers and their baggage, foreign mail and all means of conveyances at Ports of Entry.
